Kurita Canada, formerly Keytech Water Management, is a leading regional water treatment provider in eastern Canada. Based in Ontario since 1981, we specialize in innovative water treatment solutions, including chemistries, extensive equipment systems, and comprehensive technical services. In 2021, Keytech joined the Kurita Group of companies through its North American subsidiaries, Kurita America and Kurita Canada, and now serves most of Canada.

Kurita is one of the largest industrial water treatment providers in the world with approximately 8000 employees across 35 countries and state-of-the-art R&D facilities located in Germany, Japan, and Singapore.

Kurita Canada has an immediate need for a Senior Account Manager. As a Senior Account Manager you an existing customer base and meet growth goals through lateral sales and new customer development.

Job Title: Senior Account Manager

Territory/Location Information: Toronto/Kitchner Ontario area throughout Southwestern Ontario

 This position is based out of a home office.

 Travel: 80-100% within territory

Compensation:  $90-$110K (CAN) plus Commission based on a defined program


  • Manage existing accounts via direct onsite service and technical support
  • Work directly with customer operations, maintenance and management
  • Develop and maintain strong customer/client relationship
  • Responsibility include consultive services on Water Treatment chemical and equipment applications in a variety of industries and processes
  • Sales Growth and new customer development responsibilities
  • Manage and support Tech Services in smaller accounts in the territory
  • Respond to any customer emergency
  • Able to multitask and manage a large account base.
  • Develop quotes and proposals for lateral and new sales
  • Communicate effectively with larger customers understanding their business needs
  • Report direct to Regional Manager

  • 4 Year Technical Degree Preferred
  • 10 plus years of Sales or Technical Experience
  • “In-House” Training to meet objectives
  • Field Training with other reps to meet objectives
  • Strong communication skills
  • Continued sales training to meet objectives
  • Must have a Class G license in good standing. Company Vehicle is provided.

Physical and Mental requirements: Being able to do the following in a safe and effective manner.

  • Climbing, ascending, and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and industrial equipment, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
  • Reaching and extending hands and arms in any direction.
  • Standing and walking for sustained periods of time.
  • Pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, and stooping for sustained periods of time.
  • Using upper extremities to move objects and equipment with steady force.
  • Sometimes working in extreme temperatures for periods of more than one hour.
