Pay Grade:  860  (Minimum $367.92/day)
Work Days:  226
Primary Purpose:
Manage the Plano ISD Partners in Education (PIE) program, a district effort to maximize community partnerships to achieve district goals that meet the needs of students and staff. Implement the strategies of the PIE program designed to capture all community resources through one entrance point; recruit partners, develop partner agreements and foster long-term partnerships; and increase recognition for community partners and volunteers for their contributions to PISD. In addition, the Partners in Education Program Coordinator will also support district and Plano ISD Education Foundation community engagement efforts that support the mission of the PIE program.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education/Certification:






High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Bachelor's Degree within the fields of nonprofit management, event planning, hospitality management, communications, public relations or similar areas or equivalent professional-level work experience (preferred)

Valid Texas Driver's license


Experience:
A minimum of three years' working in the education, association, nonprofit or marketing field 

A minimum of two years' experience with partnerships or donors 

Management and operations experience (preferred)

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to develop, implement and manage projects and programs with professionalism

Experience with donor/nonprofitrelated database platform (CRM system) or other applicable system

Professional skills including organizing, planning, problem-solving, decision making, and working efficiently, both independently and in teams

Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and written communications

Ability to coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for successful execution of projects

Experience with managing social media platforms (preferred)

Emphasis on detail and accuracy in relation to writing, project management and donor/partner information

Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Lead the work of the Plano ISD Partners in Education program in collaboration with the Partners in Education Committee 

Manage the district-wide CRM system in Salesforce, includes the reporting function of the system; requires collaboration with various district departments and a third-party vendor 

Maintain standard processes for users of the CRM system; implement and communicate updates as necessary 

Train new users of the CRM system and provide ongoing to support to all users 

Manage the daily work of the Partners in Education program including: 

Provide partnership guidance to campuses and departments 

Draft and execute partnership agreements 

Assist with the development and execution of a district-wide plan to recruit and retain community partners 

Provide regular, effective communication with all internal and external partnership stakeholders 

Provide annual partnership recaps to district administration 

Draft custom partnership overviews and recognition recaps for top-tier partners 

Oversee district compliance with internal partnership protocols and with the terms of the executed partnership agreements; including ensuring appropriate recognition efforts have been made 

Serve as the planning and logistical lead on an annual Partners in Education recognition event In collaboration with the Partners in Education Committee, maintain a partnership handbook to provide guidance to district staff on established protocols and resources 

Draft and edit program materials as needed for both internal and external stakeholders 

In collaboration with the Partners in Education Committee, develop creative, new strategies for recognizing community partners and volunteers 

Support the fundraising and partnership efforts of the Plano ISD Education Foundation, including: 

Fundraising initiatives like events and campaigns 

Attend and participate in monthly Education Foundation Board of Directors meetings 

Donor recognition activities 

Community engagement efforts

Work closely and effectively with the Sr. Executive Director to keep him/her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and following up appropriately

Follow all rules, regulations, and policies of Plano ISD and follow directives from supervisor

Follow attendance policy as assigned by supervisor

Perform other functions that may be assigned by the Administration and/or supervisor
