Job Description:
We are seeking a driven CAD Designer to join our team full-time. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and detailing product positioning equipment, developing precise drawings for both standard and custom pieces of equipment that align with customer requirements. You will support the entire manufacturing cycle - from initial concept to final shipment - by preparing detailed designs, generating bills of material, and addressing quality needs along the way. This position offers the chance to work on innovative projects while advancing your career in design and engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform design layouts and drafting on CAD systems as needed.
  • Select and specify purchased parts and materials as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and sales
  • Design, engineer, and prototype new products and systems to meet customer needs

Ideal candidates:
  • Have a positive work ethic and attitude
  • Are self-motivated
  • Effectively manage time

Skills Needed:
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or other 3D design software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in the manufacturing of metal products is a plus.
  • Desire to continuously learn.

Knowledge Required:
  • Understanding of basic mechanical design
  • Familiarity with metal manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of CAD software and design techniques.

Ability to Implement:
  • Ability to create detailed and accurate CAD drawings.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
