Job Title: Journeyman Electrician
Job Description
This role involves working at a Casino outside the city, where you will assist in the controls portion of electrical work. You will be responsible for bending and installing conduit, installing cable trays, pulling wire, and performing minor electrical instrumentation installations. The position requires comfort in reading and interpreting blueprints, installing devices, and testing systems.
Responsibilities

Essential Skills
- Journeyman Electrician certification.
- 1+ year of industrial experience.
- Experience with cable-tray installation and instrumentation controls.
- Comfortable working with controls and automation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with instrumentation and controls work.
- AWP and Fall-protection certification.
- Experience with water treatment is considered an asset.

Work Environment
The work is located at a Casino outside of the city. The team meets at the Esso just outside of the city past Cochrane and carpools to the site. Candidates are paid for 1 hour of travel each day, which is included in their 10-hour workday. Work hours are Monday through Thursday, with a 10-hour shift at straight time. Overtime is available after 40 hours. The meeting time at Esso is 6:30 am, followed by travel to the worksite.
