About the Position:Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. RRAD is near the corners of 4 states - Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which which includes: 1) Utilizing quality assurance principles, concepts, and methodologies such as analyzing, evaluating and inspecting production methods, processes and testing techniques on products such as weapon systems, vehicles and associated equipment, 2) Identifying inadequacies and requesting corrective actions and/or program changes based on findings that impact overall service effectiveness, OR 3) Performing statistical and quality data analysis and evaluation to determine if products comply with rules and regulations.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed a the second lower grade/level position in the Federal Service (GS-07).OREducation: Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position.
