In Clinic Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are professionals who provide direct, hands-on behavioral therapy to clients, typically children with autism or other developmental disorders, within a clinic setting. They work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). In Clinic RBTs are responsible for collecting data, teaching new skills, and helping clients reduce problematic behaviors, all while maintaining a structured and supportive environment. Their role is crucial in helping clients achieve therapy goals and make meaningful progress.

To thrive as an In-Clinic Registered Behavior Technician, you need a high school diploma (or higher), completion of the RBT training, and RBT certification, along with foundational knowledge in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Familiarity with data collection software, behavior tracking systems, and adherence to HIPAA compliance are typically required.
