About Nova Supports

Nova Supports is looking for Registered Behavior Technicians to join our team, working in a day clinic for ADULTS with autism. Nova Supports provides in-home AND in-clinic ABA services to individuals with autism across Utah. We take pride in providing COMPETENT and COMPASSIONATE care to each of our clients.

Position Overview

Compensation: $20-$23/hour once certified

  • 9:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday


We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). If you are not yet certified as an RBT, we can help you get there! In this role, you will provide services to ADULTS with autism in our clinic, working closely with a behavior analyst to implement personalized treatment plans. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized treatment programs designed by a behavior analyst
  • Use ABA techniques to promote skill acquisition and behavior reduction
  • Collect and record data on client progress
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
  • Attend regular training and supervision sessions
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
  • Provide services to clients with a wide range of behavioral support needs, including individuals who may engage in aggression, self-injurious behavior, property destruction, elopement, or other challenging behaviors.
  • Utilize approved behavior intervention strategies, de-escalation techniques, and crisis prevention procedures to support client safety and treatment goals in accordance with company policies and clinical protocols
  • The ability to safely and effectively work with clients who may exhibit challenging behaviors, including physical aggression and self-injurious behavior, and to implement approved behavioral support and de-escalation procedures, is an essential function of this position
  • Employees must be able to perform the essential duties of the position across the full range of clients served by the organization, with or without reasonable accommodation
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Must complete the 40-hour RBT training program (provided by Nova Supports)
  • Pass the RBT competency assessment and obtain RBT certification within the designated timeframe
  • Reliable transportation to clinic
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and Competent with working with individuals with autism
