In Boxing information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Boxer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Boxer, you need excellent physical conditioning, technical boxing skills, and a solid understanding of rules and strategies, often developed through years of training and amateur competition. Familiarity with boxing equipment, training regimens, and possibly certification from a recognized boxing organization is common. Mental toughness, discipline, and resilience are key soft skills that help boxers handle both victories and setbacks. These skills and qualities are crucial for achieving peak performance, ensuring safety, and maintaining a successful and sustainable boxing career.

What are some common challenges professional boxers face during training and how can they be managed?

Professional boxers often encounter challenges such as maintaining peak physical condition, managing injuries, and balancing intense training schedules with proper rest. Overtraining and risk of burnout are common, so it’s important to work closely with coaches and medical professionals to develop personalized training and recovery plans. Additionally, nutrition and mental health support play crucial roles in sustaining performance and longevity in the sport. Building a strong support team helps boxers stay focused and manage these challenges effectively.

Job description

COMPANY OVERVIEW
At Rumble Boxing, we believe the hour we spend working out can inspire the other 23 hours of our day. We believe in sharing our good vibes and energy with the world—and in many ways, that’s our most important offering. More than anything, we believe in each other. No matter where you are in your fitness journey, Rumble will elevate your fitness.

JOIN THE MOVEMENT. LEAD THE FIGHT.
Are you a high-energy, passionate group fitness pro who thrives in the spotlight and lives to motivate? Rumble is looking for exceptional trainers to lead our signature, music-driven, 45-minute boxing and strength workouts. Each class combines boxing rounds on water-filled, tear-drop-style bags with functional strength training—set to curated playlists that power the experience.
This isn’t your average group fitness role—it’s part coach, part performer, and part community leader.
 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Customer Service & Energy – You’re the face of the studio, building relationships and creating a welcoming, exciting environment.
  • Motivation & Presence – You can command a room, drive energy, and keep clients coming back with confidence and charisma.
  • Boxing & Fitness Fluency – You understand proper form, safe technique, and how to deliver workouts that challenge and uplift.
  • Adaptability – You’re quick on your feet, offering modifications and support for a wide range of fitness levels.
  • Time Management – You keep classes moving, transitions smooth, and energy high from start to finish.

TRAINER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
As a Rumble Trainer, you’ll bring the energy and lead unforgettable workouts, while supporting the overall studio experience.
  • Preparing class content using Rumble programming, including bag combos and floor circuits.
  • Delivering high-impact workouts that sync with Rumble’s curated music playlists.
  • Providing clear instructions and motivation, while monitoring and correcting form.
  • Being an enthusiastic team player, collaborating with staff and contributing to studio energy.
  • Engaging with members in person, over the phone, and via email to support retention and satisfaction.
  • Operating studio tech (A/V, music, displays) and using ClubReady to assist with member inquiries.
  • Maintaining studio cleanliness and organization while upholding Rumble brand standards.
  • Supporting growth through community events, promotions, and on-brand social media engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of group fitness experience (required)
  • Boxing experience is a strong plus
  • Preferred certifications: NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, AFAA, etc.
  • CPR/AED certification or willingness to complete within 30 days

SOCIAL MEDIA EXPECTATIONS

Trainers are a key part of our brand identity, both in and out of the studio. We encourage every trainer to contribute to the studio’s energy and visibility by:
  • Sharing class highlights, milestones, or shoutouts on Instagram
  • Posting or re-sharing content that promotes your classes or studio events
  • Regularly promoting your class schedule to help drive attendance and visibility
  • Participating in occasional content shoots or promotional videos
  • Being a positive and authentic presence that helps grow our local community
You don’t need to be an influencer—just willing to engage, represent the brand, and help build the Rumble buzz.
