Job description

Position Overview
The Jacksonville Icemen In-Arena Host will work with the Game Operations team to deliver an engaging fan experience, serving as an in-arena host and on-camera personality for all preseason, regular season, and playoff home games.
Responsibilities
  • Execute live game entertainment elements, including on-ice promotions, fan contests, and sponsored activations as outlined in the game script and rundown.
  • Attend pre-game meetings with the Game Operations team to support the successful execution of all game presentation elements.
  • Conduct themselves professionally in all interactions with staff, guests, and the public, including activity across social media channels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience of hosting and/or announcing experience preferred, with game entertainment experience considered a plus.
  • Strong, professional on-camera presence and ability to engage audiences in a live event environment.
  • Applicants must submit a demo reel for consideration.
  • Availability for all 36 home games, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to generate energy and connect with audiences through voice, personality, and presence.
  • Adaptable, coachable, and highly motivated self-starter.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
