Job description

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse, receiving, inventory, purchasing, and distribution operations in support of the Regions Arena. This position ensures the accurate receipt, storage, inventory control, and distribution of food, beverage, supplies, equipment, and operational materials necessary to support daily operations and successful event execution. Working closely with Hospitality and Operations leadership, the Warehouse Manager oversees purchasing, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and warehouse operations while ensuring compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and inventory control procedures. This position is responsible for leading warehouse staff through hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, performance management, and employee development while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence. This position will initially be based at the Mobile Convention Center to support pre-opening planning, operational readiness, and training for the Regions Arena. Upon the arena's opening in early 2027, the primary work location will transition to the Regions Arena. This is an on-site position and may occasionally provide operational support at the Mobile Convention Center and the Saenger Theatre as business needs require. Standard business hours apply; however, this position requires flexibility to work an event-driven schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Regular attendance, professional presentation, and the ability to support venue operations during peak event periods are essential.

This role pays an annual salary of $60,000-$65,000

The Regions Arena is a state-of-the-art, 10,000-seat entertainment venue currently under construction in downtown Mobile, Alabama, with a planned opening in early 2027. Designed to become the premier destination for live entertainment and community events along the Gulf Coast, the arena will host a wide variety of events, including professional hockey, concerts, family shows, regional and national sporting events, community gatherings, and Mobile's annual Mardi Gras celebrations. The arena will feature premium hospitality offerings, including luxury suites, club spaces, loge boxes, and more than 27,000 square feet of flexible multi-purpose and pre-function space, creating exceptional experiences for guests and event partners alike. The team plays a critical role in delivering outstanding food and beverage experiences through catering, concessions, premium hospitality, and suite services. Working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment, the team is committed to providing exceptional guest service while supporting the venue's operational excellence and long-term success.


  • Oversee all warehouse, receiving, purchasing, inventory, and distribution operations for the venue.
  • Manage product ordering, purchasing, receiving, storage, and distribution to ensure adequate inventory levels for daily operations and event needs.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, purchase orders, requisitions, receiving documentation, transfers, and perpetual inventory within established company procedures.
  • Verify all incoming shipments for quality, quantity, specifications, and accuracy before acceptance.
  • Ensure products are properly labeled, dated, rotated, and stored in accordance with food safety and inventory control standards.
  • Coordinate product transfers between facilities while maintaining accurate documentation and inventory accountability.
  • Develop and maintain organized, clean, and sanitary warehouse, commissary, cooler, freezer, and storage areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify purchasing needs to prevent shortages while minimizing waste.
  • Oversee the maintenance, cleaning, and organization of warehouse equipment, refrigeration units, carts, portable equipment, and other operational assets.
  • Ensure all event equipment and supplies are properly staged, distributed, recovered, and returned following each event.
  • Manage warehouse staff by hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, evaluating performance, and administering corrective action when appropriate.
  • Maintain employee records, performance evaluations, coaching documentation, and other required personnel records.
  • Assist with concession and premium hospitality operations during events as operational needs require.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty as assigned, including opening and closing responsibilities.
  • Partner with Finance and Hospitality leadership to support inventory reconciliation, invoice processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reporting as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, health department standards, OSHA requirements, and applicable alcohol service regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, operational processes, and cost controls.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of warehouse, inventory control, purchasing, distribution, or logistics experience, preferably in a hospitality, food and beverage, entertainment, sports, or event venue environment.
  • Minimum 2+ years of management or leadership experience.
  • Experience with inventory management systems, purchasing processes, and point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred.
  • Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment; forklift certification is preferred or the ability to obtain it.
  • Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Service Certification required where applicable or ability to obtain within established timeframes.
