Job description

OPERATIONS MANAGER || Marietta, GA || Full-Time || On-Site


Responsibilities

The Operations Manager runs afternoon and evening operations for a fast-moving team. This is a hands-on role—you’ll be out in the field, leading crews, solving problems, and making sure every job gets finished the right way before the day ends.

  • Run PM operations and make sure trucks return safely and jobs are completed correctly
  • Work closely with the AM team to keep operations running smoothly
  • Jump in to help on trucks or job sites when needed
  • Handle customer issues, damages, and delays professionally
  • Hold crews accountable and keep energy and morale high through long days
  • Oversee truck check-in—clean, stocked, and ready for the next day
  • Track and manage equipment and inventory
  • Set up the next day so the team starts strong
  • Close out jobs, review details, and support billing completion
  • Keep safety and quality standards high across all operations


Required Qualifications:

  • 4–5+ years of management or team leadership experience
  • Comfortable leading in fast-paced, hands-on environments
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure
  • Good communication with both crews and customers
  • High accountability and attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work on-site in Marietta, GA and pass a background check


Nice-To-Haves:

  • Experience in moving, logistics, or field service work
  • Familiarity with scheduling, inventory, or CRM systems
  • Experience working in a physically demanding role


Working Condition & Environment:

  • Fully on-site role with both field work and operations management
  • Regular work outdoors and on active job sites
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and step in physically when needed
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday (typically based on truck schedule)
  • 90-day initial schedule required for training, with flexibility after
  • Must be willing to work past 6 PM when jobs run late
