Job description

Nightingale Nurses - Allied is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Morristown, New Jersey.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
  • Strongly preferred experience with IMRT, 3D, SRS, SBRT, CBCT, and AlignRT
  • Accurately delivers radiation treatments with minimal supervision
  • Performs IGRT, SBRT, portal imaging, and daily/monthly linac & CT QA
  • Performs CT simulation, including respiratory gating, ACQ simulation, and IV contrast
  • Constructs immobilization devices, electron/cerrobend blocks, and SBRT simulation setups
  • Lead CT Therapist: Trains therapists on CT/Simulation, QA, SBRT simulation, respiratory gating, and mould room duties
  • Maintains treatment records and verifies plans, prescriptions, schedules, and imaging in MOSAIQ
  • Operates CT-on-rails for IGRT and performs IGRT across treatment sites
  • Follows radiation safety/ALARA standards and emergency procedures
  • Documents daily treatments, monitor units, treatment-plan changes, and required records
