JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate in Madison, AL. Our client is a growing manufacturing and distribution company. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by receiving incoming shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packaging orders, and delivering materials throughout the manufacturing facility in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.
Pay:
  • $16.00 - $17.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shift:
  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Shift hours are subject to change based on production needs.
Responsibilities of a Warehouse Associate include:
  • Unload, inspect, and receive inbound shipments.
  • Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick materials and deliver parts to multiple assembly areas throughout the facility.
  • Pick, package, and prepare outbound orders for shipment to customers and company locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and material records.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided if applicable).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with production and warehouse team members.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Job Requirements of a Warehouse Associate:
  • Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, material handling, or inventory experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the shift.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to working safely and accurately.
