JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Forklift Operator in Flint MI. Our client is a manufacturing company. The Forklift Operatoris responsible for operating industrial forklifts to move, locate, stack, and transport materials in a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities of a Forklift Operatorincludes:
  1. Operating Forklifts: Safely maneuver forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials.
  2. Loading & Unloading: Moving goods from storage areas, trucks, or containers.
  3. Stacking & Organizing: Placing products on shelves, racks, or designated storage areas.
  4. Inspecting Equipment: Conducting daily checks on forklifts (brakes, fuel, battery, hydraulics) to ensure safe operation.
  5. Following Safety Protocols: Adhering to workplace safety regulations and wearing required protective gear.
  6. Inventory Management: Keeping records of stock movement and updating logs.
  7. Assisting with Warehouse Duties: Helping with packing, labeling, and organizing inventory.
  8. Reporting Issues: Informing supervisors about equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
  9. Maintaining Clean Work Area: Keeping the warehouse or job site organized and hazard-free.

Job Requirements of a Forklift Operator:
  • Have at least 2-5 years experience in a manufacturing facility driving a forklift.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:
Previous crane and/or forklift certification is a preferred.
Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.

Conducting (drug screening and/or background check) report inquiries may be necessary for employment purposes.
