About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vet Technician, Lead to join our team at Alamo Dog & Cat Hospital. As the Lead Vet Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our veterinary clinic, ensuring the highest level of care for our animal patients. You will work closely with our veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional service to our clients and their pets. Your leadership and expertise will be essential in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent
  • Current certification as a Veterinary Technician
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Vet Technician
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology or related field
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Experience with Impromed software
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train veterinary technicians and assistants
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures and surgeries
