IGT is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Global Trade Compliance Import/Export Analyst III to lead and execute our global import and export operations, ensuring full adherence to international regulations, preferential trade agreements, and product certification standards. Based in Reno, Nevada, this role bridges strategic oversight with hands-on execution-driving compliance excellence, optimizing trade workflows, maintaining audit readiness, and fostering collaboration across logistics, supply chain, legal, and branding teams. This Analyst will play a key role in shaping IGT's global trade strategy while reinforcing our commitment to integrity, transparency, and operational excellence across every market we serve.

Key Responsibilities


Regulatory Oversight & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with FTAs, BTAs, and country-specific import/export regulations (e.g., USMCA, NOMs, EO 14298).
  • Review and validate documentation including commercial invoices, SLIs, COO certificates, and jurisdictional permits.
  • Maintain audit-ready records and lead internal reviews in coordination with customs brokers and legal teams.

Strategic Trade Operations

  • Supervise global classification and origin determination for electronics, gaming equipment, and branded textiles.
  • Collaborate with logistics and order management to align shipment timelines with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage relationships with 3PLs, customs brokers, and certification bodies across jurisdictions.

Process Optimization & Tool Development

  • Build and refine Excel-based tools for BOM analysis, origin qualification, and tariff impact modeling.
  • Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives to streamline compliance workflows and reduce regulatory risk.

Training & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop bilingual training materials and technical notes for internal teams and suppliers.
  • Advocate for industry-wide improvements in trade rules and origin methodologies.
  • Prepare strategic communications for consultations, regulatory changes, and stakeholder outreach.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in international trade, logistics, or related field.
  • 5-10 years in global trade compliance, with hands-on experience in classification, origin, and certification.
  • Deep understanding of FTAs, NOMs, customs rulings, and audit frameworks.
  • Proficient in logistics software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in facilitating, developing, and organizing strategic or tactical project information, and presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Fluent in English, with translation and interpretation capabilities; Spanish preferable.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $75,000/yr - $100,000/yr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable. 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
