Job description

Responsible for providing basic and advanced Cardiopulmonary Care services to neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. Will plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of Cardiopulmonary Care.  Actively supports the vision, mission and values of Medical Center Barbour.

Education:                                                                                                                     Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care                                         

Experience:   

     Two years of clinical experience in Cardiopulmonary Care is preferred.  The Therapist/Technician must have outstanding clinical, communication and interpersonal skills in order to perform at the level expected by Medical Center Barbour.

Licenses/Certificates:      Certified Respiratory Technician Registered or Registry eligible Respiratory Therapist, Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Alabama.

            BCLS Certification by the AHA

            ACLS preferred

            PALS desired
