We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer for our client in the Manufacturing Technologies domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Permanent position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: Full-time

Location: Burlington, MA (Onsite)

Salary: $105,000/Annually

Role: Field Service Engineer

Primary Skills: Engineering

Role Description: The Field Service Engineer must have 4+ years of experience.

Expectations:

- Willing to travel regionally and occasionally throughout North America.

- Provide troubleshooting support over the phone for customers and third party service providers.

- Maintain meticulous records of field service issues and enter them into the service database.

- Provide after-hours technical support via company cell phone, on a rotating basis, to the global customer base.

- Administer the RMA process and report to customers on status

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation library.

- Actively provide design input and customer feedback to the quality, manufacturing and design teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Trade School Certification in HVAC/R Field and/or Electronic Technology.

- EPA Universal Certificate

- 5+ years of field service experience

- 3+ years of working with project teams, contractors and interfacing with customers

- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electro-mechanical systems and Cooling Distribution Units (CDU)

- Ability to understand customer specifications and applications to drive customer solutions

- Must have strong hands-on mechanical and electrical skills and demonstrated ability to trouble shoot failure in equipment an sub-systems.

- Must be self-motivated, a team player capable of multi-tasking

- Must have experience with Liquid Cooling technologies

- Knowledge of PLC function & interfacing (RS485, ethernet. etc.)

- Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering or technical field
