Raytheon seeking a support Program Manager to assist with multiple program efforts within the Product Support organization under C3S2. In this role you will have direct interaction with Product Support's missile defense customers. The programs cover a range of sustainment activity including Engineering, Logistics, Repair, and Refurbishment services for missile defense products/programs. This position is an onsite role, located in Andover, MA.
What You Will Do:
  • Inherits full accountability and authority for leading and managing assigned programs and proposals.
  • Sets program strategy and tactical direction for execution by multifunctional teams and is personally responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance of assigned programs.
  • Pursue and capture new business from existing customers, or from new customers in new pursuits as assigned. These programs and pursuits require familiarity with the following areas: Training, logistics, field engineering operations, supply chain and proposal generation.
  • Leader for coordinating, generating, and costing proposals.
  • Primary contact with customers and will interface regularly with internal support organizations, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Proven ability to manage full program lifecycle from proposal through contract completion, including cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Strong knowledge of contract types, Earned Value Management, risk management, and associated reporting/management tools.
  • Effective leader skilled in customer interfacing, CONOPs and requirements development, resource planning, procurement coordination, and organizational change management.

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • 8+ years of program or project management experience within defense, intelligence, or government environments.
  • 3+ years leading multi-disciplinary teams in a matrixed organization, driving execution independently.
  • Demonstrated leadership managing sustainment efforts.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions for program and/or technical requirements and growth opportunities.
  • Solid interpersonal and customer relationship skills with demonstrated experience in building and managing potentially discontinuous and difficult relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Earned Value Management System.
  • Experience in Raytheon Lifecycle Program Management.
  • Experience in several of the following: Repair services, complex system refurbishment, OCONUS deployment

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
