**About the Role**The Uber Global Relocation & Immigration (GRI) team is looking for a regional business partner to own GRI service delivery for the US&C and LATAM regions, as well as immigration program management for Canada and LATAM. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring a great experience for Uber stakeholders and relocating employees and assignees in these regions.The GRI Business Partner US&C and LATAM will report directly to the global GRI Senior Program Manager. GRI develops and manages the global mobility programs that get our people where they need to go-in the right way

We offer efficient and compliant global mobility programs that support the global movement of talent and their families.In this role you will partner closely with key regional and global stakeholders across the GRI team, Talent Acquisition, HR, business leaders and Uber's external GRI vendor partners to bring these programs to life.**What You'll Do**- Partner with the global GRI Senior Program Manager and others in the GRI team to design and implement GRI services to support Uber's international talent needs, focussing on the US&C and LATAM regions.- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with regional Talent Acquisition and HR teams to strategically position GRI services as a key enabler to achieving their international talent priorities. Ensure feedback is shared with full GRI leadership team to support the continuous development of the GRI program- Regularly engage with key internal partners such as Talent Acquisition and HR teams, delivering regional training, reporting and GRI program reviews- Partner with key regional HRBPs, Hiring and Recruiting managers to access applicable programmes and advise on policies and processes to meet Uber's business needs and optimize employee experience- Leverage your deep expertise in global mobility to act as the technical mobility expert for the US&C and LATAM regions, ensuring full compliance.- Serve as the immigration program manager for LATAM and Canada- Maintain day-to-day relationships with external providers in region and optimise due-diligence process with internal stakeholders (comp & ben, legal, stock, etc) and third party vendors, including tax impact assessment and compliance requirements analysis- You will be the escalation point for operational matters that cannot be addressed by Uber's People Operations team and will be responsible for identifying appropriate, scalable solutions and ensuring learnings are incorporated for continuous program improvement- Together with Uber's immigration specialists, you will be a contact for US&C and LATAM immigration inquiries and escalations- Own a variety of projects with attention to detail, resourcefulness, using strong problem-solving skills in a fast paced environment- Continuously review regional GRI metrics to assess the effectiveness of GRI operations in the region across the full GRI ecosystem and employee lifecycle (incorporating HR Shared Services, GRI and external vendors) across dimensions such as speed, efficiency and quality, to continuously improve the program**What You'll Need**- 4+ years of relevant experience in global mobility program management working across relocation, tax and immigration- Minimum 1 year of in-house/corporate environment experience- Motivated self-starter, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing business needs- Strategic and consultative with advanced interpersonal and project management skills- Passionate about customer/client success with a track record to prove it**Preferred Qualifications**- Technical working knowledge of immigration, relocation and tax mobility matters across with US&C and LATAM regions- Experience in mobility program design and development preferredFor Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$102,000 per year - USD$113,000 per year.For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$102,000 per year - USD$113,000 per year.For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$113,000 per year - USD$125,500 per year.For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$113,000 per year - USD$125,500 per year.For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$102,000 per year - USD$113,000 per year.For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan
