The company offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is seeking an experienced immigration and global mobility professional to support its team during a period of increased coverage needs.

Job Description:

The Immigration & Global Mobility Specialist will provide hands-on support for employment-based immigration, global business travel, and cross-border mobility programs. This individual will work closely with employees, HR partners, business leaders, and external immigration vendors to help ensure cases are handled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable requirements.

The ideal candidate brings recent business immigration experience, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment, and is comfortable independently managing multiple priorities in a fully remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate employment-based immigration and global mobility activities for employees traveling or relocating across borders.
• Support U.S. immigration matters involving B-1, H-1B, TN, E-3, L-1, J visas, and permanent residency/green card processes.
• Manage global business travel requests and provide employees and leaders with guidance regarding requirements, anticipated costs, and processing timelines.
• Review immigration intake materials and coordinate visa, work permit, renewal, and residency documentation.
• Partner with outside immigration counsel and mobility vendors to track applications and ensure cases progress according to established timelines.
• Prepare supporting travel documentation and assist with employment eligibility and onboarding compliance requirements for applicable employees.
• Respond to employee and leadership questions regarding immigration processes, travel requirements, and case updates.
• Clearly explain immigration procedures and requirements to stakeholders who may not have an immigration background.
• Maintain accurate immigration and business travel records, case tracking, and reporting.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of internal global mobility resources, process guides, and knowledge materials.
• Participate in mobility-related projects, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives.
• Stay informed of evolving immigration, global mobility, business travel, cross-border compliance, and related industry developments.
• Ensure mobility activities align with internal policies and applicable country-specific regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of professional experience supporting employment-based immigration and/or global mobility programs.
• Recent business/employment-based immigration experience within the past five years is required.
• Experience supporting immigration matters such as B-1, H-1B, TN, E-3, L-1, J visas, and permanent residency/green card processes.
• Previous experience within a consulting or professional services environment strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively within a virtual, multi-time-zone environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex immigration topics for employees and business partners.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders ranging from entry-level employees through senior and executive leadership.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Additional Details:

• Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, or immigration/global mobility vendor platforms is a plus.
• Exposure to immigration requirements outside of the United States is beneficial.
• SHRM, PHR/SPHR, GPHR, GMS-T, or similar professional certifications are a plus.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-moving professional services environment where priorities and situations may evolve quickly.
