  • Role Overview

    As a Senior Glazing Estimator, you’ll play a pivotal role in Coastal Glazing’s growth by delivering precise, competitive bids and collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors to shape high-performance building envelopes.

    Responsibilities
  • Analyze architectural drawings, specs, and site conditions to develop accurate estimates
  • Prepare detailed takeoffs and bid packages for curtain wall, storefront, and specialty glazing systems
  • Source pricing from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring costeffective solutions
  • Collaborate with project managers and field teams to align scope and execution
  • Maintain estimating documentation and support continuous workflow improvement
  • Participate in strategic planning and client presentations as needed
  • Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial glazing estimating
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, PartnerPak, or comparable estimating platforms
  • Strong understanding of aluminum systems, glass types, and installation methods
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills
  • Familiarity with energyefficient systems and retrofit strategies is a plus
  • Ability to use output from our estimating software and M/S Excel spread sheets
