What You'll Do

As a Breast Ultrasound Technologist, you'll play an essential role in helping patients receive timely, accurate breast imaging while providing reassurance during what can often be an emotional experience.

Perform Breast Ultrasound Imaging
  • Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic breast ultrasound examinations
  • Produce diagnostic-quality images for radiologist interpretation
  • Ensure patient comfort throughout each examination
Assist with Breast Procedures
  • Support radiologists during ultrasound-guided breast biopsies
  • Assist with aspirations and localization procedures
  • Maintain sterile technique and patient safety throughout procedures
Deliver Exceptional Patient Care
  • Explain exams in a calm, compassionate manner
  • Help reduce patient anxiety through excellent communication
  • Monitor patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
  • Maintain patient privacy and dignity at all times
Maintain Clinical Excellence
  • Follow established breast imaging protocols
  • Accurately document procedures and patient information
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and the breast imaging team
  • Maintain quality and safety standards throughout each patient encounter
What You'll BringRequired
  • RDMS certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
Preferred
  • Breast specialty (BR) credential
  • One or more years of breast ultrasound experience
  • Experience assisting with breast biopsies and ultrasound-guided procedures

Compensation:

Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is:

$43.35 - $58.65 per hour
