Trusted Space is seeking a Senior Imaging Scientist with a Bachelor’s degree or higher with 8+ years of combined experience. This position is primarily remote but will require the willingness to travel to Chantilly, VA for occasional onsite support. Key Responsibilities: * Development and testing of imagery simulation software and custom image processing software.
* Development of sensor performance modeling and simulation capabilities.
* Performing analysis of different sensors leveraging modeling and simulation capabilities.
Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Imaging Science, Optics, Astrophysics, or Aerospace Engineering
* 8+ years’ experience developing software in the Python programming language, image processing, and sensor performance modeling.
* An active Top Secret clearance with SCI
Desired Skills * Master’s or PhD degree in Imaging Science, Optics, Astrophysics, or Aerospace Engineering
* Experience developing image processing for astronomy and/or spacecraft detection
* Experience in modeling and simulating imagery with spacecraft
* Experience in CUDA Programming and opensource libraries leveraging GPUs
Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000. Please note that this range is a general guideline and can vary.
