Position Location
This position is located in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.
Job Overview
The ICS Network Engineer Level I is responsible for the configuration and deployment of end user workstations and end point devices across the ICS environment. This includes but is not limited to Windows based workstations, printers and interface cards in various equipment and updating all applicable documentation. Incumbent will also assist senior members with varying tasks including application maintenance, database maintenance and assistance with troubleshooting server and application issues. Basic understanding of computer fundamentals and networking is required.
Salary: $86,900 to $96,900
Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties:
  • Prepare workstations for deployment (OS imaging, baseline software etc.).
  • Configure network adapters and settings for new equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose network communication issues and perform corrections as needed.
  • Replace hardware components as required.
  • Racking and cabling of network equipment.
  • Support team members when called upon.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on assets and applications as required.
  • Record and update documentation for assets in the ICS environment.
  • Assist end users with application use and configuration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Harmoniously working with other company employees and customer representatives or end users.

Job Requirements
Mandatory:
  • Possess basic experience across multiple aspects of the IT environment with a willingness to learn more.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and maintain good working relations.
  • S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required intelligence community level clearance.
  • Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-hire background and drug screen.
  • Ability to team lift up to 50lbs.

Preferred:
  • Associate's degree in a related field.
  • 1 DoD approved IAT Level I or II certification.
  • Windows / Windows Server / Linux experience.
  • Experience with POE cameras and devices.
  • Previous experience in a large-scale IT environment/deployment.
