Vascular Access / PICC Line Nurse (1099 Contractor) – Port Charlotte to Venice, FL

We are seeking experienced Vascular Access / PICC Nurses to join our mobile vascular access team covering the Port Charlotte to Venice corridor.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position designed for autonomous nurses who want flexibility, control over their workload, and uncapped earning potential.

Compensation & Flexibility

  • Average Annual Earnings: $90,000–$100,000

  • Top Performer Earnings: $150,000+ (Uncapped)

  • Flexible Case Volume: Case volume varies naturally throughout the week.

  • Control Your Workload: Choose how much you work based on your schedule and income goals.

  • Additional Earning Potential: Opt into additional coverage when case volume is high.

Coverage Area

Primary Territory: Port Charlotte, North Port, Venice, Englewood, and surrounding communities.

This is a field-based role requiring travel to healthcare facilities, clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and patient sites throughout the territory.

Candidates should ideally reside within or directly adjacent to the coverage area.

What You'll Do

  • Perform specialized vascular access services with a focus on first-stick success.

  • Perform PICC line insertions in a variety of healthcare settings.

  • Work independently as the on-site vascular access expert.

  • Collaborate with facility healthcare teams.

  • Travel throughout the assigned territory based on case demand.

Position Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 100 verifiable PICC line insertions.

  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted Florida RN License.

  • Credentials: PICC Certification highly preferred.

  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.

  • Travel: Comfortable traveling throughout the Port Charlotte-to-Venice territory.

  • Mindset: Clinically confident, dependable, accountable, and comfortable working independently.
