Job description

Position Summary:

Manages and directs execution of sales plans and initiatives for the assigned sales team and assigned territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, etc.
  • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.
  • Assigns sales territory to sales representatives.
  • Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
  • Coordinates liaison between sales department and Loffler service and administration personnel.
  • Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
  • Submit formal pricing requests to our vendor partners.
  • Adhere to business hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
  • Utilize Loffler's CRM tool.
  • Ability to use Microsoft suite (excel; power point; word; outlook).
  • Participate in and be a contributing member of the sales team and uphold the company mission statement.
  • Responsible for understanding, staying updated on, and abiding by the Employee Handbook as written.

Manages the direct sales efforts into the assigned named accounts

  • To achieve 100%+ of monthly sales plan through profitable sale or lease of Imaging Integrated Solutions.
  • Develop and maintain account relationships to ensure consistent growth for the company.

Supervises the training, development, and assessment of assigned staff to retain and motivate of assigned sales force to ensure the achievement of sales volumes.

  • Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectation to ensure mutual understanding of desired results.
  • Reviews employee performance; provides positive and constructive feedback by applying sales standards to reinforce desired results.
  • Conducts formal reviews to ensure activity and quality standards are being met.
  • Participates in recruiting and selecting applicants for job vacancies.
  • Follows and implements coaching standards on assigned staff to ensure consistent and effective sales performance.

Serves as the role model and sets a standard of performance and behavior to motivate and develop team spirit among assigned staff.

  • Maintains expert knowledge of sales procedures and processes; identifies areas of improvement.
  • Supports company-sponsored projects and programs; utilizes corporate resources to enhance productivity and promote the company's image.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships within the local business community to present a positive image of Loffler Co. Inc.
  • Seeks out opportunities to promote teamwork.

Works with senior management to ensure effective implementation of the strategies and tactics designed to obtain business unit goals and objectives.

  • Manages the defined revenue and volume objectives for each direct report and communicates status to senior management.
  • Monitors key sales operational tactics as defined by senior management to assure that all corporate goals are being met in a timely manner.
  • Contributes to the budgeting, reforecasting and annual planning process to assure sufficient resources are available to meet outlined objectives.
  • Gathers and distributes industry information to ensure team employees are aware of current industry trends.
  • Gathers and forwards competitive information to ensure senior management is aware of current market trends.
  • Establishes and manages prospecting activities and tracking systems.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of threedays in office
  • Candidates must posses a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, and provide proof of minimum auto insurance coverage as required by state law.
  • Knowledge of the systems, products and services of the company.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the company's business objectives and goals.
  • Skill in customer relations, such as the ability to respond with sensitivity and a sense of urgency to customer needs or requests.
