Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: The Imaging Scheduler gathers pertinent information to efficiently schedule Imaging customers for procedures performed at CPH, the Kenai Health Center and Outpatient Imaging. Maintains thorough knowledge of medical terminology, imaging procedures compendium and associated preparation instructions. Provides accurate and complete demographics for Imaging, Patient Access Services, Patient Financial Services and pre-authorization needs. Utilizes exceptional communication skills both via telephone and face-to face interactions. Works to always accommodate the timely diagnostic imaging needs of providers and patients. Works as a department ambassador in demonstrating superior customer service skills both inter and intra-departmentally. Supports the mission, vision and values of the organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One year Clerical- General Office Experience

PREFERRED:
  • 2 years Clerical -General Clerical in a Medical Office Setting
  • Certified Healthcare Access Associate
