Job Summary:
The Supervisor supports the General Manager by overseeing day-to-day floor operations and ensuring consistency and high-quality guest experience. This role is responsible for supervising frontline staff, maintaining operational standards, assisting with employee training, and ensuring the smooth operation of exhibit and retail areas. The Supervisor serves as a key point of contact for staff inquiries and guest concerns, while upholding all company policies and procedures.
Experience:
  • 1-3 years of supervisory or team lead experience in retail, attractions, or hospitality preferred.
  • Prior experience in guest service or customer-facing roles required.
  • Experience handling cash, POS systems, and shift operations a plus.
  • Seasoned safety ambassador
  • Background in team-based work environments preferred.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily operations on the floor to ensure smooth exhibit and retail activity.
  • Support the General Manager by assisting with staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
    Act as a first point of contact for guest questions, concerns, or escalations.
  • Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and suggestive selling.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reporting.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking as needed.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to frontline staff to improve performance and engagement.
  • Communicate updates, goals, and expectations from management to the team.
  • Support the maintenance of a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Assist with implementing promotions, events, and other operational initiatives.
  • Meet sales goals and criteria.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to ensure operational efficiency.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment with high guest traffic.
  • Ability to stock merchandise and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Strong focus and attention to detail.
  • Clear verbal communication skills and ability to interact with guests and staff effectively.
  • Capability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English or other languages as required for job duties and safety requirements.
  • Correctable vision and hearing.
  • Skilled in the use of and manual dexterity to operate computers and office equipment.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled, with reasonable accommodation for religious observances and practices.
