Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.

This job is ON - SITE.

FTE: 0.875

Standard Hours: 35.00

Shift: Shift 1

Shift Details: Monday - Friday 1130-2200 Holidays/Weekends: Saturday and Sunday 1100-2100

7 on 7 off rotation

Job Summary:

At the direction of a radiologist operates computed tomography (CT) and related equipment. Performs CT studies according to specific guidelines, prescribed protocols and utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Reviews images; archives with associated patient data. Interacts with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients and visitors. Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 1 year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.

Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.

1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required.

Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
