Position Overview:

Under the direct supervision of the Creative Director, the Production Artist is responsible for preparing, refining, and finalizing creative assets for print and digital production. This role ensures all files meet technical specifications, brand standards, and production requirements.

The Production Artist works closely with the Creative Director, Sr. Graphic Designer, Traffic Coordinator, and design team to execute high-quality, production-ready deliverables. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and finalize print-ready and digital-ready files, ensuring proper bleeds, margins, color profiles (CMYK/RGB), and resolution standards.
  • Adapt and version existing designs into multiple sizes, formats, and layouts for various channels (print, digital, packaging, and e-commerce).
  • Perform image editing, retouching, clipping paths, and file cleanup to ensure production quality.
  • Conduct thorough quality control checks, identifying and correcting errors related to typography, layout, alignment, and formatting.
  • Collaborate with Creative Director, Sr. Graphic Designer, Traffic Coordinator, and merchandising team to execute and refine creative assets.
  • Maintain and organize file structures and asset libraries for efficient workflow and accessibility.
  • Prepare packaging, catalog, physical and digital advertising assets and marketing assets for final production and distribution.
  • Ensure all deliverables adhere to brand standards and production specifications.
  • Support the Marketing, Merchandising, Creative and E-commerce teams by preparing finalized graphics and assets.
  • Assist with production-related tasks including planograms, catalog updates, and asset exports.
  • May assist with basic product photography, image processing, and asset preparation.
  • Ensure projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and within deadlines.
  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces (digital and physical).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Preferred bachelorโ€™s degree in graphic design or related field
  • 1โ€“2 years of experience in a production, design, or marketing environment (Not including internships)
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop required)
  • Experience with print production and digital asset preparation
  • Packaging production experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Preferred knowledge with 3D software. (SketchUp and Keyshot)
  • Knowledge in best practices with ai software to support creative initiatives
  • Experience in the outdoor industry is a plus

Physical Demands:

  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Work Environment and Personal Protective Equipment:
