This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience. As a Research Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Research, design, and implement algorithms for solving inverse problems in medical imaging (image acquisition, image denoising, image super-resolution, image reconstruction etc.) using Generative AI (Diffusion Models).
  • Advance the state-of-the-art, including generating patents and top publications
  • Work on large-scale, real-world problems, be entrepreneurial in an environment that's more startup than big company

This position may suit you best ifyou are familiar with the areas and concepts below, and would like to develop your skills within Healthineers:

  • Current graduate students in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related disciplines for research interns
  • Experience with machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras in addition familiarity with image processing in Python and C++
  • Hands-on coding skills and ability to quickly prototype in Python.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Required skills and education to have for the success of this role:

  • Currently enrolled in and pursuing studies at a foreign degree- or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution outside the United States OR Has graduated from such an institution no more than 12 months prior to his or her exchange visitor program start date.

The base pay range for this position is:

$59,800 - $92,092

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
