LOCATION: Arizona Division * Must Reside in Phoenix Metro Area

OPENING DATE: 10/07/2025

POSITION SUMMARY

Maintains store image by painting interior and exterior of store buildings, gas canopies, parking lot stripes, and other structures. Installs and maintains interior graphics such as wall coverings and hanging signage. Leads a team of Image Technicians in performing daily preparation, painting, graphics installations, and cleanup of retail facilities throughout the region.

The Lead Image Technician is responsible for driving a company truck and trailer, transporting crew members, tools, and materials to various store locations, ensuring project efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met.

This position is a Circle K designated safety-sensitive role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Note: The responsibilities listed are not all-inclusive and are subject to change at any time.)

  • Leads and assists the team in preparation and application of surfaces to be painted and in general cleanup of retail facilities throughout the region.
  • Paints interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, gas canopies, parking lots (striping), curbs, bollards, and other related structures.
  • Installs interior graphics packages such as vinyl wall coverings, hanging signage, and branding materials.
  • Drives company truck and trailers safely to and from job sites while transporting crew members, tools, and equipment.
  • Coordinates daily work schedules, project assignments, and logistics to meet operational and safety requirements.
  • Helps team accomplish daily production, quality, and safety goals.
  • Performs and oversees regular maintenance and cleaning of spray equipment hoses, nozzles, filters, and screens using solvents, brushes, and cloths.
  • Ensures all painting and graphics equipment is maintained, stored properly, and in safe working condition.
  • Follows and enforces safety guidelines and job requirements utilized in day-to-day operations.
  • Receives and completes work orders vis email and ensures accurate and timely documentation of all work performed
  • Provides on-site leadership, guidance, and training to Image Technicians to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Attends and participates in scheduled training, safety classes, and division meetings.
  • Promotes a positive and safe work environment for the entire team.
  • Must be able to follow state, federal, and company guidelines at all times.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2-5 years of retail painting experience required; leadership or crew lead experience preferred.
  • Experience in both interior and exterior painting and graphics installation.
  • Must be able to use both conventional and airless spray systems.
  • Must possess basic computer and email communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable under company policy.
  • Must be able to safely drive and back up a truck with a trailer attached.
  • Requires traveling to store locations throughout the Arizona Division; some out-of-town travel and overnight stays may be required.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sit/stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Crouch, stoop, squat, and kneel.
  • Bend/twist at waist.
  • Carry and climb ladders and scaffolding.
  • Reach forward and overhead to grasp and handle objects.
  • Lift/carry up to 80 pounds from ground to overhead.
  • Push/pull with arms up to 30 lbs. of force.
  • Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures and outdoor environments. Operate computer keyboard and mouse for data entry,
  • View computer monitor, hear, and speak via telephone or radio.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at anormal range.
  • Lighting includes natural daylight and fluorescent lighting throughout work areas.
  • Work independently and with minimum direction and periodic supervision.
