Job description

Are you a passionate dance instructor who loves working with children? Ensemble Schools is looking for an experienced Combo and Tumbling Dance Teacher to inspire and nurture the next generation of students at Classic Image Dance. Our growing studio in Chandler, AZ focuses on providing quality instruction in a safe environment. We're seeking instructors who can deliver engaging, in-person lessons and contribute to the vibrant dance community. Our positive classrooms are staffed by amazing teachers who go beyond teaching dance technique to developing important life skills in students because CID is about More Than Just Great Dancing!

The position is for combo and tumbling classes for dancers ages 25. Classes will be held Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m.12 p.m.

Responsibilities:

  • Instructing young students in a combination of dance styles and tumbling techniques
  • Implementing lesson plans created by the studio
  • Fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exhibit traits of dependability, professionalism, punctuality, enthusiasm, friendliness, patience, and leadership.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to pass a routine background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Energy, enthusiasm, and dedication to the art of teaching dance.
  • Strong background in dance and dance instruction
  • Previous experience teaching young dancers
  • Post-secondary dance training experience such as a certificate or degree in dance performance, education, or related fields (not mandatory but a plus)
