Job description

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seekinganImageryAnalystknowledge of all exploitation facets of all types of imagery and related FSG products.Candidatesshouldpossessabasicknowledge of allimagerytypestoincludeOrder of Battle, image phenomenology, and basic image processing techniques.As aMidImagery Analyst, candidate willguide and supportjunioranalystsin the testing and evaluation ofimagery applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Reports to a manager or head of a unit/department on a weekly basis .
  • Management of imagery analysis processes and procedures for the team.
  • Establishment of team structure and cadence.
  • Providing metrics, reports, and presentations as requested by the government lead and PM
  • Work to improve efficiency with team processes
  • Contribute to team discussions and recommend improvements.
  • Guides and supports junior level personnel
  • Conduct root cause problem analysis and develop technical solutions to problems
Key Technologies:

Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Electronic Light Tables (ELTs) such as Remote View, SOCET GXP, Erdas IMAGINE, and other similar programs

General knowledge of PAN, IR, MSI, RADAR LIDAR and FMV imagery and associated products, such as Full Spectrum GEOINT (FSG)

Jira, Miro, Collaboration tools

DevSecOps & Automation

Understanding of GitLab CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation) and Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)

Agile, DevSecOps, & Development Lifecycle Tools

SonarQube, Nexus, etc. for code and dependency scanning

Required qualifications:
  • TS/SCI (eligible for CI Poly)
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Ability to develop and use more complex concepts and processes
  • Ability to create display standards for various imagery types via manipulation of ELT display tools.
  • Ability to lead/manage any imagery-related project with no supervision.
  • Experience with image quality tests, assessments, and sensor initializations.
  • Ability to determine what constitutes a properly-displayed image and basic reasons why an image may not be displayed correctly.
  • Ability to design and execute imagery tests/assessments.
