Job description

About 7ALPHA

7ALPHA is a Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) serving youth with emotional and behavioral challenges. Our mission is to provide trauma-informed care and Intervention and Life Skills (ILS) training that helps youth develop independence, stability, and self-confidence. We are seeking an experienced STRTP Administrator with expert knowledge of the ILS system to lead our Los Angeles team.

Responsibilities

·         Oversee daily operations of the Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program, ensuring compliance with Community Care Licensing (CCL), Department of Social Services (DSS), and Department of Health Care Services (DHCS).

·         Implement and maintain the Intervention and Life Skills (ILS) model across all program areas.

·         Supervise, train, and evaluate staff to ensure consistent delivery of trauma-informed care.

·         Maintain compliance with Title 22 and STRTP Interim Licensing Standards.

·         Coordinate audits, inspections, and licensing documentation.

·         Support individualized treatment plans with clinical and case management teams.

·         Lead program meetings, evaluations, and continuous quality improvement efforts.

·         Build and maintain positive relationships with county agencies, community partners, and families.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field (Master’s preferred).

·         Current STRTP Administrator Certificate issued by the California Department of Social Services.

·         Minimum 2–5 years of leadership experience in a residential, group home, or STRTP setting.

·         Expert-level knowledge of the ILS (Intervention and Life Skills) system and its implementation.

·         Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and Title 22 regulations.

·         Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
