Job Description

We are currently seeking a Shipper / Receiver to join our team in Calgary, Alberta.
Reporting to the Shipping and Security Supervisor, the primary role and responsibility of an Shipper / Receiver is to load and unload trucks, pick, sort stock, and assist with inventory counts while respecting the company's safety rules and regulations ultimately creating a safe and orderly workplace. Shift structure consists of 12hr shifts on rotation between days and nights including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load/unload trucks
  • Pick and sort stock using a forklift ensuring minimal errors
  • Work safely and abide by OH&S standards/requirements
  • Assist with inventory counts as required
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff

Qualifications:

  • 2 Years of Forklift Experience
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Candidates with a Class 1 License will be given preference
  • Previous experience with materials handling & distribution warehouses preferred
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

Salary

Starting wage for the position is $27.19/Hour with potential for further increases. Once the employee successfully completes the probationary period, the wage goes up to $29.19/Hour.
