Job description


Survey Technicians are responsible for collecting data along telecommunication routes while using specialized industry devices. Thorough training is provided to all new hires, and opportunities for advancement are available for top performers. No prior experience is necessary.

Position requires national travel via car or plane with the weekly schedule being Monday - Saturday. This will be on a 4.5 week on/ 10 days off schedule.

Job Responsibilities for Survey Technician position

  • Walking telecommunications routes through rural and urban areas
  • Utilizing various applications/software for communication, shift assignment, and data collection
  • Completing assigned data collection quotas along designated telecommunication routes using IKE and other equipment/technology
  • Uploading collected telecommunication data at the end of the shift via Wi-Fi.
  • When travelling, arriving for scheduled bookings on the first day of shift (travel plan, hotels, rentals)
  • Attending daily coordinator calls to review assigned jobs and maps for the day and end-of-shift meetings to review progress on assigned jobs
  • Must have a working cell phone with data service
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements for Survey Technician position

  • Must be at least 23 years of age and up
  • Must have a valid Real ID compliant driver's license
  • Must be capable to walk/hike/trek, through any terrain, 10+ miles a day and meet specific daily requirements
  • Must be capable of working in all weather conditions and environments
  • Work in areas in which you are exposed to local wildlife, dogs, and people
  • All new hires must complete a 10 hour OSHA Certification online.
  • Required to pass a 10 panel plus drug test
