As aLaboratory Operations Supervisor in an IDEXX laboratory, you will supervise a team of Laboratory Technicianswhoanalyze samplesand help veterinarians diagnose and treat pets. What you'll be doing as a Laboratory Operations Supervisor:

• You leverage your passion for coaching and developing employees, and help your team reach their full potential while achieving business goals
• You organize staff schedules, coordinate workflow, and oversee costs and metrics
• You problem-solve, from troubleshooting diagnostic analyzers to resolving situational workflow and turnaround timechallenges
• You act as a business leader and a people leader for the lab and the line of business
• You bring your passion and enthusiasm for teamwork, success, innovation and excellence to your role and team

What you'll need to succeed:

• Youare able towork during the 3rd Shift (overnight)
• You have experience in a leadership position (supervisor, manager, etc.)
• You have directly supervised 10+ employees in a fast-paced and / or high-volume work environment
• You have knowledge of veterinary or human clinical testing procedures
• You enjoy a fast-paced, high-volume, innovative work environment
• You are passionate about peopleleadership
• You are excited about the opportunity to use your skills and abilities to promote the health and well-being of animals
• You are able to meet the physical requirements that go with working in a lab -standingandsittingforextended periods of time, phone & computer use, extended reach, lifting up to50lb, and specific vision ability - close, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• This is a laboratory, so there is potential exposure to biohazards, agents known to cause zoonotic diseases, and hazardous chemicals

• Salary rate targeting: $85,000/year (target range, skillset dependent)

Schedule:

• This is a full time (40 hour/week), night-shift position
• The hours for this position is: 11:30pm - 8:00am
• The schedule for this position is: Monday Night - Friday Night
• The shifts and hours may vary depending on business needs
• Reliable and dependable attendance is an essential function of the position
• Adherence to attendance-related policies and expectations is critical to thisposition
