Employment Type: Full-Time

Alliance Technical Group is a leading provider of emissions monitoring systems, software, and services for power plants and industrial facilities across the country. We are currently seeking a CEMS Design Engineer to join our team.

Position Overview:

As a CEMS Design Engineer, you will collaborate across Engineering, Sales, Production, and Project teams to design, support, and deliver highโ€‘quality CEMS solutions that meet customer needs. This role involves technical design work, documentation, vendor coordination, and occasional onโ€‘site support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Sales teams to develop CEMS designs and solutions.
  • Create parts lists and material specifications.
  • Coordinate with vendors to procure materials and components.
  • Work with the Production/Service Department to troubleshoot system integration and testing issues.
  • Support Technical Writing and Project Management teams in developing system documentation and manuals.
  • Create, revise, and finalize documents and drawings in AutoCAD.
  • Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Prepare and maintain technical submittals.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed for technical discussions, kickโ€‘off meetings, installation oversight, or troubleshooting (up to 15%).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
  • Experience writing design specifications and interpreting customer requirements.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic controls and relay logic.
  • Knowledge of power distribution and electrical controls.
  • Experience creating detailed electrical design drawings, schematics, and related documentation for electroโ€‘mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Electrical and Mechanical).
  • Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.
  • Demonstrated track record as a strong performer and team player.
