Consultant- Identity Access Management - you will provide technical and consultative leadership for solutions opportunities on a range of complex engagements.

Delivery of technical architectural design, strategies and plans for engagements, conduct design workshops, define IAM road map, define enterprise integrations for a risk landscape.


Salary: Direct Hire 285,000 -PLUS Sign-on 300,000 K Plus Bonuses with a Product Company Base Plus Great Benefits

Location: Reston/Chantilly, VA HYBRID – Up to 3-4 Days Onsite


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Provides technical and consultative leadership for IAM solutions opportunities on a range of complex engagements. Delivery of technical architectural design, strategies and plans for engagements.
  2. Implementation of solutions at customer sites. Design, develop, implement and test associated components.
  3. Function as technical lead. Ability to supervise staff and plan/assign work on project engagements. Leads project quality assurance activities, including technical QA reviews.
  4. Establish relationship with client technical counterparts. Participates in client meetings related to development efforts. Work in conjunction with colleagues to ensure effective resolution of technical issues encountered during implementations.
  5. Prepares, maintains and submits activity/progress reports and time recording/management reports in accordance with published procedures. Keeps project managers informed of activities, alerting of any issues promptly. Completes end-of-project reports while adhering to margin, planning and SOW requirements.

Essential Requirements:

  1. Proven track record with 6-8 years of experience in software consulting or IT services with focus on Identity and Access Management.
  2. Excellent customer-facing skills. Strong communication (written and verbal) along with interpersonal skills
  3. “Take-charge”, positive attitude. Quick learner and great team player. Experience is leading technical initiatives and mentoring peers.
  4. Clear, in-depth understanding of IAM domain.
  5. Hands-on experience in associated technologies including database (preferably Oracle), LDAP, Java, Linux and application servers.
  6. Strong API Knowledge, Scripting (Python, PowerShell), IAM products and technologies, including LDAP/AD, SAML, SSO, MFA, PKI

Excellent knowledge of information and network security fundamentals
