Job Description Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in Las Vegas, NV for a Perm opportunity. We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen our enterprise security posture and safeguard missioncritical systems across venues, gaming operations, guest services, and corporate infrastructure. This role is a strategic technical position that partners directly with the CIO to design, implement, and maintain security capabilities that protect the Clients brand, customers, and digital assets

Position Summary The Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for architecting, deploying, and managing security technologies across the enterprise environment. This role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems supporting entertainment operations, gaming systems, pointofsale environments, cloud platforms, and corporate applications. The engineer will work closely with IT staff to execute security strategy, support compliance requirements, and proactively defend against emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities Enterprise Security Architecture - Design and maintain secure architectures for onprem, cloud, and hybrid environments supporting entertainment and gaming operations. Security Technology Deployment - Implement and manage SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, PAM, MFA, and datalossprevention solutions. Vulnerability & Risk Management - Conduct regular assessments, prioritize remediation, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements (PCI, gaming regulations, SOC2).

Incident Response Engineering - Build and refine detection rules, automation workflows, and response playbooks; support investigations led by the CIO and IT leadership. Cloud Security - Implement guardrails, policies, and monitoring for AWS/Azure workloads powering guestfacing and internal applications. Identity & Access Management - Maintain secure access controls across corporate systems, gaming platforms, and venue operations.

Security Automation - Develop scripts and integrations to streamline detection, response, and compliance reporting. Executive Reporting - Provide the CIO with clear dashboards, risk summaries, and strategic recommendations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related experience.

3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, preferably in entertainment, hospitality, gaming, or highavailability environments. Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, endpoint protection, and secure system design. Handson experience with SIEM (Splunk, Sentinel), EDR (Sentinel One), firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), and IAM platforms.

Experience supporting compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, NIST, gaming regulatory standards). Excellent communication skills with the ability to brief executives and collaborate across diverse teams. Link Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
