Packaging EngineerJob Overview

We are seeking a Packaging Engineer to support the development, implementation, and improvement of packaging solutions across a variety of products and projects. This role will work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, manufacturing, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure packaging solutions meet quality, performance, cost, and operational requirements.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with strong technical and communication skills who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve packaging solutions based on product and operational requirements.
  • Support packaging design, testing, validation, and implementation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify packaging requirements and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and external partners as needed.
  • Analyze packaging performance, quality, cost, and efficiency.
  • Support packaging-related projects from initial concept through implementation.
  • Troubleshoot packaging issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • Review specifications, drawings, documentation, and other technical materials.
  • Assist with testing, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure packaging solutions align with applicable quality and operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and project records.
  • Support additional engineering and project activities as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Packaging Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Experience in packaging, manufacturing, product development, or a related engineering environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and specifications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with standard engineering and Microsoft Office tools.
