A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Logistics Coordinator.
Position type: Full-time, Contract (W2)
Duration: 12 Months Contract w/ extension.
Location: Minneapolis, MN – 3 days onsite
Overview: Client is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support day-to-day logistics operations, including delivery coordination, project tracking, communication, scheduling, and asset movement. This role will work closely with the Logistics Manager and internal/external partners to ensure productions, transfers, deliveries, and logistics projects are organized, tracked, and executed efficiently.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to communicate effectively across teams and platforms.
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will:
Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Process and coordinate deliveries while providing general logistical support for Creative Logistics needs.
  • Assist the Logistics Manager with communications across multiple platforms, including Slack, Microsoft Planner, Outlook, SharePoint, and other logistics systems.
  • Maintain and update Microsoft Planner with project developments, timelines, tasks, and status updates.
  • Communicate project updates and requirements to internal teams, partners, and delivery personnel as needed.
  • Coordinate with partners to discuss project details, requirements, logistics, and execution plans to ensure requests are appropriately protected and fulfilled.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project information across multiple platforms and tracking systems.
  • Assist with route planning, delivery scheduling, and communication between logistics partners.
  • Track route and delivery progress and provide timely status updates to the Logistics Manager, partners, and delivery teams.
  • Assist the Logistics Manager in developing and improving a centralized logistics tool for scheduling, tracking, and delivery confirmation.
  • Coordinate the movement and dissemination of materials, assets, and equipment throughout the building.
  • Track asset movement and communicate progress and completion status using multiple platforms.
  • Assist with the staging, organization, preparation, and tracking of projects, assets, and equipment.
  • Support the Logistics Manager with daily, weekly, and monthly logistics activities and priorities.
  • Identify potential issues with deliveries, routes, assets, or project execution and communicate them promptly to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Perform other logistics and project coordination duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous experience in logistics, operations, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Experience using Microsoft Planner, Outlook, SharePoint, Slack, or similar collaboration tools.
  • Ability to track multiple projects, deliveries, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic understanding of route planning, scheduling, delivery tracking, and asset management.
  • Project management or coordination experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift or other material-handling equipment is a plus.
