Assistant Project Manager | Multifamily & Modular Construction โ€“ Boise, ID

Affordable Housing | Preconstruction & Project Support | Growth Opportunity

A vertically integrated builder-developer is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support preconstruction and project delivery across modular and ground-up multifamily communities in the Boise area. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional with strong technical and coordination skills, looking to grow into a lead PM role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with subcontractor solicitation, scope development, and proposal evaluations
  • Track and coordinate RFIs, submittals, and drawing redlines
  • Support schedule and budget development, and monitor project progress
  • Participate in change order management, including pricing, documentation, and negotiation
  • Help establish reporting procedures and maintain accurate records
  • Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and authorities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Aid in development of site logistics plans, construction methods, and procurement tracking
  • Review submittals and shop drawings for accuracy and conformance
  • Support project handoff and close-out documentation
Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • 2โ€“5 years of experience in a construction project coordination or assistant PM role
  • Knowledge of contract administration, RFI/submittal processes, and construction documents
  • Familiarity with scheduling and budgeting workflows
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or MS Project preferred
  • Experience with multifamily and/or modular construction is a plus
