Job Summary

Introba is seeking an experienced ICT designer for technology systems with 5‑10 years of experience. The Technology Designer will assist senior consultants, project managers and principals with consulting, design, and construction management of technology systems for data/voice cabling, wireless, paging, security access control, video surveillance, audio‑visual and other specialty systems. Responsibilities include designing systems, writing specifications, developing budgets, creating project design solutions and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD. The role requires on‑site work in Miami.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Consultant as they lead customers through the programming/visioning phase.
  • Support programmatic reports, sketches and budgets to communicate recommendations to clients in a manufacturer‑neutral, iterative fashion.
  • Lead project meetings; establish agendas, document minutes, maintain action items and issue logs while supporting the overall project schedule.
  • Support the Senior Consultant during user meetings to develop requirements by system, department and room; document requirements and communicate them to the internal and external design teams.
  • Support development of detailed design documents including drawings and specifications for systems and supporting infrastructure; review construction documents for quality and coordination.
  • Assist in development of RFPs for equipment or services, answer bid‑period questions, issue clarifying agenda, review proposals and tabulate formats.
  • Oversee construction phases and conduct periodic site visits to ensure contractors adhere to design intent, specifications, quality and objectives, answering RFIs to resolve coordination and construction issues.
  • Develop and manage punch lists for each system; support transition and move plans; support final commissioning and end‑user training while tracking and managing close‑out activities and documentation.
  • Attend professional development seminars and conferences to stay abreast of industry changes and advances.
Qualifications
  • 5‑10 years of experience in ICT technology design.
  • Aviation experience required.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows 10 or higher and in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience across all phases of building construction planning, design and delivery.
  • Technical capability in preparing ICT specifications, sketches, computer drawings and providing technical advice.
  • Positive and proactive approach to learning and applying job‑specific software.
  • Location: Must be based in Miami to perform onsite work.
  • Willingness to travel for projects and industry conferences; typically 1–3 days per trip, about one trip per month; primarily domestic with occasional international travel.
