Position Summary:

The Originations Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and tracking of Originations projects across business, operations, and technology teams.

This role ensures smooth project operations by maintaining documentation, coordinating schedules and resources, supporting change management activities, and facilitating communication among stakeholders and vendors.

The Project Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining project organization, visibility, and momentum, enabling successful delivery of Originations initiatives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain project plans and tracking tools: Keep project plans, dashboards, schedules, and documentation updated to support daily execution.
  • Coordinate project activities: Support day to day project tasks, action items, and follow ups to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Facilitate meetings and logistics: Organize onsite/virtual meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure clear communication of objectives and outcomes.
  • Coordinate project communications: Prepare and distribute status updates, ensuring timely and accurate information flow across teams and vendors.
  • Support meeting facilitation: Schedule and organize meetings, prepare agendas, and capture decisions, risks, and next steps.
  • Serve as a communication hub: Act as a central point of contact for project inquiries, alignment, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Maintain project documentation: Organize and update project materials, recordings, and reference documents in SharePoint.
  • Track deliverables and risks: Monitor project milestones, risks, and performance metrics to support visibility and accountability.
  • Support process and change activities: Assist with workflow improvements, change
    management tasks, and project transitions to ensure continuity.

Qualifications and Competencies Required
Required Experience:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or in an administrative role.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in auto finance or lease originations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., e.g., Monday, Nintex, Confluence, Jira)
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Education:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Project Management
  • Or equivalent combination of experience and education

Overtime required as required on an as needed basis.

Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis.

Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • PMP or CAPM certification is a plus

  • Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams

Work Schedule

  • Ability to work between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and weekends as needed.
