Majority of work performed at the detention center and other county buildings as needed.
Maintains, installs, and repairs physical structures and mechanics of buildings by performing the following duties:
- Completes preventative maintenance, documentation, procedures, visual inspections, and troubleshoots as needed
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts
- Repairs and maintains physical structures or reviews work of contractors performing work
- Identify problems with mechanical systems and recommend solutions to resolveÂ
- Keep sidewalks clear of debris, snow, and ice
Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- Associate's Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
- Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office and work orders program
Other Requirements
- Valid driver's license
