Job description

3-YEAR BASE TERM, WITH POTENTIAL 2-YEAR EXTENSION.  MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IN RANCHO CORDOVA, SACRAMENTO, VACAVILLE, AND SAN JOSE, CA.

 

Mandatory Requirements

  • A minimum of three (3) years within the past seven (7) years managing IT systems operations for large-scale projects.
  • ITIL v3 or later certification (or equivalent).

Desirable Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience of Statistical Analysis System (SAS) and SAS MXG (Merrill’s Expanded Guide) used to extract transform and load existing service usage data from source/mainframe systems.
  • Knowledge and experience evaluating IBM’s Z/OS mainframe usage data for System Management Facility (SMF), Hardware Security Modules (HSM), Removable Media Manager (RMM) Tape, Direct Access Storage Devices (DASD) and Adaptable Database System (ADABAS).  Knowledge of IBM mainframe operating systems and components including Job Control Language (JCL) and Tivoli Usage and Accounting Manager (TUAM).
  • Knowledge and experience within data center services and related technologies, including networking, telecommunications, cloud computing, and storage solutions.
