Seeking a (Mainframe) Senior Software Engineer with experience in content management and a proven track record in fast-paced delivery environments, with the following responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop engineering specifications for software applications and systems.
Write, maintain, and review code in accordance with established coding standards and best practices.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement technical solutions that support required product features while ensuring functionality, scalability, and performance.
Collaborate within an Agile team, actively participating in Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, and delivering assigned work throughout the software development lifecycle.
Communicate risks, issues, and blockers promptly to the Scrum Master and project stakeholders.
Track progress against project schedules, provide regular status updates, and escalate technical challenges as needed.
Apply software engineering best practices across the full development lifecycle, including coding standards, unit testing, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
Demonstrate experience designing and delivering large-scale, customer-facing applications.
Exhibit a strong sense of ownership, urgency, accountability, and results-driven execution.
